The Skill Verification Program (SVP) is a scheme established by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to oversee its labour market and assess the capabilities of workers, ensuring they possess the requisite skills for their roles. It mandates internationally recognized skill certification for employment visas in Saudi Arabia, guaranteeing workers’ competency for their designated positions.

Yes, skill verification and certification through an authorized skill verification institute is mandatory for securing employment in Saudi Arabia.
Certification fees will have to be paid at the time of registration in the Takamol portal, though no fee is charged directly by EFSIM Skills Development Academy. However, you can sign up for the paid SVP refresher course offered by the academy to increase your chances of clearing the test.
The assessment is done in two parts: 1. Computer based theory test. 2. Practical assessment in the relevant trade lab/workshop.
